Delete your account

Every installation of Fix & Restore Old Photos (by TESTIQ LLC, 1500 N Grant St Ste N, Denver, CO 80203, United States) has a small record on our server, even if you never signed in: your credit balance and the record of its changes, the marks that count the free restorations, and a random ID used for statistics. Signing in with Google adds your Google account ID to it. You can ask for this record to be deleted. We never keep your photos on our side, except an image you reported.

Ask us to delete my account

1In the app

Open Settings and choose to delete your account. The app asks you to confirm, then deletes this installation's record on our server and its link to your Google account.

2By email

Write to support@testiq.io with the subject “Delete my account”. If you signed in with Google, write from that Google account's own email address. If you never signed in, write from any address and include the installation ID shown in Settings. If you no longer have the app, tell us instead roughly when you installed it and, if you bought anything, the Google Play order number; we will find and delete what we can and tell you what we found. We never delete anything on an email alone: we reply to the address you wrote from with a confirmation, and we delete the record within 30 days after you confirm.

3Delete some of your data and keep your account

You don't have to delete your account to delete your data.

  • Your restorations are on your phone, not on our server. Open History and delete one restoration, or choose “Delete all”. Photos you saved are in your phone's gallery.
  • Data on our server: write to support@testiq.io with the subject “Delete some of my data” and say what you want deleted, for example your statistics and crash data. Write from your Google account's address if you signed in with Google, or include the installation ID shown in Settings if you never did. We confirm the request the same way as an account deletion, and within 30 days after you confirm we delete the data or, where Google holds it for us, ask Google to delete it. The credit balance and its records stay while the account exists, because the app needs them to work, and purchase records stay for as long as tax law requires.

4What is deleted

  • Your Google account ID and the link to it.
  • Your sign-in in Firebase Authentication, including the email address, name and picture of your Google account.
  • The records of your restorations, the notes of what they cost us, rewarded ads and account merges.
  • The credit balance and the record of this installation. Unused credits are lost when the account is deleted. If you have a large unused balance, write to us before you delete the account and we will see what we can do; for a recent purchase, ask Google Play for a refund first.
  • Google removes the deleted data from its backups within 180 days.
  • The statistics and crash data tied to the installation's random ID are deleted automatically after the times in the privacy policy, or sooner if you ask.

Your History and your saved restorations are on your phone: delete them in the app or your gallery.

5What stays

  • Purchase and plan records (product, order number, date, state and your account's random ID, without the purchase token), until 7 years after the end of the year of their last change, as tax and accounting law requires.
  • The marks for your device that stop the free restorations from being repeated by reinstalling.
  • An image you reported, until the report is settled and in any case for at most 90 days.
  • A report that a child may be in danger or harmed, with the record of the restoration it names and its credit entries, how your account signed in, the dates it was made and last used, and the photo of that restoration if it is still on our server, until the matter is closed.

A plan is not cancelled by deleting the account. Cancel it in Google Play first.
